Position: INFRASTRUCTURE COORDINATOR EU

JOB SUMMARY

Will operate as Infrastructure Coordinator of the new Offices Project on the EU Delegation.

  • Liaise with the Real Estate in Delegation Division at the EEAS HQ and observe the entire administrative process of approval of the project alongside the Head of Administration.
  • Provide help during the venture initiation and design improvement, assessment plans and paperwork, correspondence and term of references.
  • Organize   and   coordinate   the   native   conferences   with   report   to   EU   Delegation   and   EU Headquarters.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in architecture and/or civil engineering – additional degree in project management is an advantage.
  • Proven minimum of 5-year experience in similar sort of work, each within the coordination and technical quality management field.
  • Thorough  data  of  the  office  building  discipline  –  Experience  in  workplace  construction works within the EU is a bonus.
  • Thorough  data  of  office  building  guidelines  in  pressure  domestically  and  ability  to  compare them to EU norms and necessities – Knowledge of the monetary rules and laws of the EU is an advantage.
  • Thorough data of English, both written and oral – Good knowledge of French is a bonus.
  • Thorough data of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
  • Thorough data of CAD software (e.g. Autocad).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • High level of group, prioritization, flexibility and ability to work under strain.

Place of Employment:  Delegation of the European Union to Ethiopia – Addis Ababa

Employment Contract: definite/Temporary

Working hours/week: 37.5

Group II – with starting primary salary of 1913.EUR/month (payable equivalent in Ethiopian Birr).
